Better Yields Through Science
Agriculture Education
Webster’s dictionary defines agriculture as “the science, art, or practice of cultivating the soil, producing crops, and raising livestock and in varying degrees the preparation and marketing of the resulting products.” We know it goes beyond just the technical description. Generations of growers and agriculture advocates understand that it means being stewards of the land, of the water and of all Earth’s natural resources. Skills include science, math, communications, leadership, management and technology.
